Thoughtful Help From An Experienced Leader
You may contact Darin for trips, tricks, or techniques that may help you resolve a sensitive issue at work. Darin is usually hired by members of the people (aka human resources) team or the senior leader who manages the head of that team.
Most engagements involve an initial conversation that lasts up to an hour. During that call, Darin gathers the who, what, why, how, where, when, and to what degree. His advice is only as good as the information that is shared in that first meeting. By the end of this first meeting he either gives the requesting party an assignment to gather more information or he immediately dispense a few options to try. Rarely, Darin may require some additional time to think about the situation before providing advice.
After an agreed-upon amount of time, Darin follows up with the client to find out how things turned out. If the results were not as expected, he usually provides additional steps to take at that point.
Darin cannot accept any responsibility or liability for the outcome because he cannot control the execution of his advice. Darin also retains the right to anonymize/sterilize the story and use it in the future as a learning point in a presentation, book, etc. That is part of his compensation for providing the service of advice.
The current rate for Darin Phillips' advice is USD$500.00 for the initial one-hour discovery call and advice, plus the follow-up call (which usually lasts 30 minutes).
